Zamak 6 has the same base composition as Zamak 3 with a slightly higher copper content than Zamak 5, which results in increased strength, hardness, and wear resistance. However, this also leads to a slight reduction in ductility. Zamak 6 is specifically designed for applications requiring superior mechanical performance and durability under load.
Coating capability remains good, and dimensional accuracy is acceptable. It is particularly used in heavy-duty components, industrial parts, and precision mechanical applications.
